South East Asian Table Tennis Association (SEATTA) Celebrates Elite Competition at the 33rd SEA Games Thailand 2025

NONTHABURI, THAILAND – The South East Asian Table Tennis Association (SEATTA) is proud to oversee the Table Tennis competition at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, held from December 12 to 19, 2025, at the Westgate Hall, Central WestGate.

As the regional governing body, SEATTA remains committed to elevating the standards of table tennis in Southeast Asia. This year’s Games feature 71 elite athletes from across the region, including powerhouse delegations from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The tournament showcases seven medal events: Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Men’s and Women’s Team events.

“The level of play we are witnessing in Thailand is a testament to the rapid development of the sport in our region,” said a SEATTA representative. “With veteran champions being challenged by a rising generation of youth talent, these Games serve as a vital platform for showcasing Southeast Asian excellence on the road to the 2026 Asian Games and beyond.”

Tournament Highlights & Venue

The 33rd SEA Games Table Tennis events are hosted in the state-of-the-art Westgate Hall (4th Floor) at Central WestGate, Nonthaburi. The venue has been transformed into a world-class arena, providing a high-octane atmosphere for fans and a professional field-of-play for the athletes.

Competition Schedule Summary

  • December 12–14: Team Events (Men’s and Women’s)

  • December 16–17: Doubles & Mixed Doubles

  • December 17–19: Singles Events (Men’s and Women’s)
