Timor Leste Table Tennis Federation Meets SEATTA During SEA Games 2025

During the 33rd SEA Games in Bangkok, the Southeast Asian Table Tennis Association (SEATTA) met with the Timor Leste Table Tennis Federation (FTMTL) to discuss its prospective membership.

The meeting brought together SEATTA leaders — President Mr. Nattavuth Ruengves, Secretary General Mr. Muchlis Marliono, and Treasurer Mr. Sakul Ariyachotima — with FTMTL President Mr. Agustinho Gomes da Silva, accompanied by Ms. Jacinta de Deus Ribeiro Alexio Filipe of the Timor Leste National Olympic Committee.

Discussions focused on strengthening regional collaboration and ensuring Timor Leste’s participation in SEATTA’s competitions and governance. Both sides expressed optimism that FTMTL’s membership will mark a new chapter of unity and growth for table tennis in Southeast Asia.
