The SEA Youth Table Tennis Championships 2026 came to a memorable close on 19 April in Singapore, as the host, the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA), organized a heartfelt farewell party for athletes, officials, and delegations.
The evening brought together most of the participating teams, offering a warm and festive atmosphere that celebrated not only the competition but also the friendships and unity fostered throughout the event. Delegates enjoyed a chance to relax, connect, and reflect on the week of spirited matches and shared experiences.
A highlight of the farewell gathering was the exchange of appreciation plaques between SEATTA, presented by Mr. Muchlis Marliono, SEATTA's Secretary General and STTA, Ms. Poh Li San, President STTA symbolizing mutual respect and gratitude. SEATTA acknowledged STTA’s outstanding efforts in hosting the championships, while STTA expressed appreciation for SEATTA’s leadership and support in bringing the regional youth event to life.
This closing celebration marked the perfect conclusion to SEA Youth 2026—an event that not only showcased the rising talents of Southeast Asia but also reinforced the bonds of collaboration and friendship within the table tennis community.
